Hello artists, creators and supporters,

 

Karamea Pop-up Gallery "Midwinter Blues" exhibition, a mini arts festival, on August 13 & 14 at the old Hardware Store, is less than a week away.

 

Hope you are all excited and getting ready for the weekend!

 

Registration is open for the exhibitors. 13 amazing artists have registered so far.This is a wonderful opportunity to share your talent, so please take this chance and exhibit your art/craft works. 

All you need to do is to simply register by email to karameagallery@gmail.com

 

The registration deadline is 4p.m. on Thursday, August 11th.

 

 

[ Schedule for the weekend ]

 

August 11th (Thur.) - Last date for registration 

August 12th (Fri.) - Drop off your artworks 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

August 13th (Sat.) - Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.   

4 p.m. to 5: 30 p.m. - Late afternoon live music

5 : 30 p.m. - Auction

6 p.m. - Pot luck nibbles, BYO finger food 

 

*We’d like to set up a table for pot luck nibbles at 6pm. Please bring your nibbles to the gallery in between 4pm to 6pm.

 

6: 30 p.m. till 8 or 9 p.m. - Evening live music

 

August 14th (Sun.) - Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

 

(Artists to pick their work after 4 p.m.)  

 

We are looking for volunteers to help us set up the exhibition on Friday, volunteers to help us on the door shift on Saturday & Sunday. Please see the table below and if you can fill any of the shift, please email Sanae Murray and let me know when you are available to help so I can organise the roster. 

 

We are also looking for artworks or other items, big or small, for the auction. If you have any items, please email karameagallery@gmail.com

We are doing an auction to generate funds to continue the Pop-up Gallery. Any help or contribution will be greatly appreciated.
