Another behind the scenes job well done

... and all done in time for the new show!

Pictured: Rosalie once again working away in the background to make stuff happen. The Karamea Pulse Energy Centre needed curtains. We're not talking your standard kitchen drapes here; it's a school hall, event venue, sports centre and gym after all. They need to be pretty durable! So Rosalie went about fundraising, doing applications, sourcing suppliers, getting quotes and organising for the job to be done. Nothing to do with Council work; she does this voluntarily.

These curtains address many issues, and will be very appreciated by the many users of this community facility.

With Rosalie Sampson in the photo is Dean from John Herber Theatre supplies - who did a fabulous job.

A side note:
As many of you know, it's not magic that makes these things happen. It's time and elbow grease and Rosalie sheds a lot of both for the community.   She doesn't make a song and dance about what she does, and doesn't expect recognition but I reckon we could acknowledge our behind-the-scenes volunteers, committee members and general all-round 'doers' a bit more ❤️👏.

See you at the Vritual Symposium show this weekend.
