Come along to one of the local venues below and hear local Jake talk about his survival experiences, including a reflection on the critically important nature of emergency services.
You will also hear a Q&A with the local St John volunteers about the meaning and impact this crucial work adds to their lives and lives of others.
You will be able to talk to St. John staff about exactly what is involved with volunteering and go away informed about the process.
You'll also have more insight into the very significant contribution this volunteering work adds to communities like ours.
Thursday May 8 - Little Wanganui Hotel
Friday May 9 - Karamea Village Hotel
Both evenings start at 5pm and will be wrapped up by around 7pm
