Farmlands Co-operative will once again be offering real estate services to its West Coast shareholders, after announcing the purchase of Ray White’s real estate businesses in Hokitika and Westport.
The announcement brings seven experienced agents and three property managers to the Farmlands Real Estate team from 1st August, based in Hokitika, Greymouth, Westport and Karamea.
Farmlands Real Estate General Manager, Jason Wills says the rural supplies and services co-operative’s growth strategy is to provide real estate services to all of provincial New Zealand.
“We have been looking for an outstanding team who live the Farmlands values, know the local market, are experienced agents and have a long-established connection with the local community,” Jason says.
“This acquisition allows us to continue to grow the residential and rental management business and also provide expert real estate services to customers looking at lifestyle and rural real estate opportunities.”
With 70,000 shareholders nationwide, Farmlands Co-operative offers a range of services to its members and the wider community. Farmlands Real Estate has been growing considerably in recent years and now offers real estate services to 95 percent of provincial New Zealand.
Jason says the West Coast announcement is exciting for both the co-operative and West Coast shareholders.
